Distribution?

You must make your books available to bookstores and your customers. You may decide to sell them yourself from your home or office by direct orders only. You may decide to sell them through lectures or artistic exhibits. You may sell them exclusively to your own niche clients. You may decide to make them available through bookstores.

Each book should be analyzed to determine the proper distribution. We can discuss this with you. We can and will advertise your book on our website. We will list your book in Books in Print. We can show you how to approach Ingrams or Baker & Taylor to stock your books, if appropriate. They will insert your title in their book list so bookstores around the country will have access to your title and be able to order it. We can provide you with the names and addresses of many independent distributors and jobbers who may be interested in carrying your titles.

You should join the Amazon.com Advantage program so that Amazon.com will carry your books.

If you publish 10 or more titles, you should check out Ingram Books for possible distribution. Their website also contains information for publishers of less than 10 books.
